The "firsts" of hopefully many…

Hey everybody!

Welcome to the new “Aly’an” site and the very first “blog” post! I am not the most experienced person in this sort of thing…but I am learning! We will both be blogging as we endeavor more and more into this crazy music business so yall keep checking back. (This is where the real road stories and behind the scenes will come out!) Alyson and I are extremely excited for this upcoming year and our new music!! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you can go to the Music and Video page to sample some of our tracks.

We had our first radio interviews on Friday in our home state of Kentucky at 99.9 WVLC The Big Dawg in Campbellsville, 92.7 WHVE The Wave in Russell Springs, and 93.5 WAIN in Columbia whom all made time for us to stop by and play some of our new songs! I visited the stations in person while Alyson called in from Jackson, Mississippi (she was playing in a conference basketball tourney) AND we got to hear our music over the radio waves for the very first time! It was extremely cool and a GREAT experience to hear our music played. Hopefully, this whole radio station thing will become an every day activity in the future!

AND we also had our first advanced album purchase today!! YAY! Ms. Carol Schmitz of Montgomery, TX will receive the first sold copy of our new album. Thanks Carol for your support!!

That’s all I have for now…but we will keep posting and hopefully get better at this whole “blogging” concept in the future.
